Terms of Service

By booking or using FURVO services, you ("Client") agree to the following terms:

1. Services

FURVO provides mobile pet grooming services at the client's location, including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, and related grooming care.

2. Appointments & Access

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
  • The Client must provide safe and accessible space for the grooming van, including legal parking.
  • FURVO reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments if access is unsafe or unavailable.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged $50 or up to 50% of the service price.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future service.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices vary based on breed, size, coat condition, behavior, and grooming time.
  • Full payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
  • Additional charges may apply for severely matted coats, difficult behavior, or extended service time.

5. Pet Behavior & Safety

  • The Client must disclose any history of aggression, anxiety, biting, or medical concerns.
  • Grooming involves sharp tools and equipment. Sudden movement or aggressive behavior may result in accidental injury, including cuts, nicks, or irritation.
  • FURVO reserves the right to stop or refuse service if the pet poses a safety risk.
  • The Client is responsible for any injuries caused by their pet to FURVO staff or equipment.

6. Grooming Risk Acknowledgment

The Client understands that grooming services involve inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, nicks, scratches, skin irritation, or stress-related reactions. By using our services, the Client accepts these risks and agrees that FURVO is not liable for such outcomes when reasonable care and standard grooming practices are followed.

7. Matted Coat Policy

Severely matted coats may require shaving. This may cause skin irritation, redness, or expose pre-existing skin conditions. The Client acknowledges these risks and agrees not to hold FURVO liable for issues resulting from the removal of matted hair.

8. Health Conditions

  • The Client must inform FURVO of any medical conditions, sensitivities, or special needs.
  • FURVO is not responsible for complications related to pre-existing conditions or stress during grooming.

9. Veterinary Emergency Authorization

In case of an emergency, the Client authorizes FURVO to seek veterinary care if necessary. The Client agrees to be fully responsible for all related costs.

10. Liability Limitations

FURVO will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of each pet. However, FURVO is not liable for:

  • Injuries caused by the pet's behavior
  • Pre-existing health conditions
  • Minor grooming-related incidents consistent with standard industry risks
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

11. Right to Refuse Service

FURVO reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for safety, health, or operational reasons.

12. Photo Release

The Client grants FURVO permission to photograph their pet and use these images for marketing purposes, unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

By booking or using FURVO services, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
